I’ve stumbled across a piece of great software yesterday created by Brad Callen and what’s even better (and surprising) is, it’s absolutely FREEEEEEEE, so I thought I’d tell you about it.

Just as a sidebar, in case you don’t know who Brad Callen is, he’s the SEO and keyword software genius behind such brilliant quality products as SEO Elite and Keyword Elite – so for someone of his calibre to be giving away a piece of his software for free, is pretty darn exciting.

If you want to cut to the chase and grab it now – check it out here and watch the video to see how it works

Basically, you install the software and then all you have to do is browse Google, and the software will automatically place a “view keywords” button below any Adwords advertiser’s listing.

If you click the “view keywords” button, you can see the keywords ANY Adwords advertiser is bidding on! Plus, a bunch of other very cool stuff. Yep, you can legally spy on your competitors!

If you’re writing blog posts, or articles, this is a must-have to give you some great ideas for key words, as well as if you’re doing Adwords campaigns.

Until now, nobody had access to this information, except for Google, and the advertisers themselves. I suspect this is going to completely change the way keyword research is done on the internet.

I’ve never seen anything anywhere near this powerful, especially being free – but why not have a play with it yourself and see what you think.

I don’t know how long this application will be free and you will have to give up your email address (so remember which one you used) to download and activate it.

Enjoy!

It was taking up too much time, going through all my bookmarks and clicking on each individual site.

Sometimes I got so busy that I would forget to check my favourite blogs out and, annoyingly, missed out on getting some great breaking news `as it happens’ – a few days later isn’t always good enough in internet marketing!

Now, I’m happy to say, I no longer have those problems as I use a really cool Google product called Google Reader. Many of you may already be using this or perhaps you might have heard about it but not got round to signing up? If you’re not using it, I would strongly recommend it.

Google Reader allows you to simply login and read all your favourite blogs in one place, at one time.

I’ve done a mini-tutorial below to show you how easy it is to set up:-

1. Go to the GR home page here

If you already have any kind of Google account such as Gmail or AdSense then you can use your login details to sign in – otherwise, simply sign up for an account.

2. Once you’ve signed in or signed up you’ll see this page

3. Click on the Add Subscription button and add the url of your favourite blog and click Add

4. Just go on adding the urls of the blogs you like to read using the Add Subscription button and you’ll see them appear down the left-hand side

6. Just click on the feed on the left-hand side that you want to read and all the posts will appear in the large window to the right.

7. When new posts appear you will see the number of posts you have not read yet in brackets next to the name of the blog e.g. PlanetSMS Blog (2) You can mark each post as read when you’re done.

There are loads of other features you can get into by having a good old rummage around, simply click on the Manage Subscriptions link

One nice one that I’ll tell you about is the subscribe button to add to your browser. Click on the Goodies link and scroll down to the bottom of the page

So there you have it, all your favourite blog posts in one place – you can whizz through them all in one go and save yourself a bit of time.

Best wishes

Nowadays, more and more people are starting their own websites or blogs. Whilst it is relatively inexpensive, with 1000s of cheap hosting companies to be found, it seems a waste not to put your site to work properly for you and earn some proper cash from it.

Applying for a Google AdSense account is quick and easy for any interested webmaster. Just point your browser to www.google.com and click on apply. Click on the drop down arrow under account type and select individual or business. If you are not sure which to choose, simply click on the question mark to the left. Next, select your country or territory.

Under website information, you are asked to insert your primary URL. If you have your own website, list it here (e.g. http://www.yoursite.com). If you are using a blogging site such as http://www.blogger.com your blog URL goes here.

Now you need to select your website’s primary language. Google AdSense supports Chinese (simplified), Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, and Turkish (so there’s just about something for everyone!)

Next you should select the product you want on your pages. AdSense for Conten tmeans you will have advertising targeted to the content on your pages. For example, if your website/blog is about wooden garden fencing, you might have fencing ads on your page. AdSense for Search allows you to add a Google search box to your pages (see example below). To maximize your Google AdSense earnings, I would advise you to have both.

You just need to complete the usual contact information and you’re done. You should receive an email within two or three days informing you whether your application has been approved. N.B. Many of you may have bought/acquired ready-to-go websites that include a Google AdSense version and a non-Google AdSense version, my advice would be to upload the non-Google AdSense version first and then use this to apply for AdSense. When Google check out your site for approval it could hamper your chances of being accepted if you have Google AdSense coding already on your site.

Do I Have to Pay Taxes on My Google AdSense Earnings?

Google Adsense is required by law to collect tax information from those who participate in the program. If you are a business, you will be asked to insert your EIN number on your application. If you are an individual, you will be required to insert your social security number. If you do not have this information when you initially sign up you can still apply for the Google AdSense program. However, Google AdSense will withhold payments to you until they receive the required information.

While Google does not withhold taxes or provide any tax advice, they will send you a 1099 once your earnings reach a certain figure. Of course, if you are a Non-US business and have no business activity in the United States, you will not need to provide this information. For further tax information regarding the Google AdSense program, visit the Google AdSense Support site.

i) For those of you on the mailing list who rushed along to the MASSIVE GIVEAWAY that I told you about and who had trouble accessing the site, it is up and running again now.

Anyone who wishes to submit a gift or simply download some free gifts can do so here .

I lifted this from a thread on the Warrior Forum, which, in turn, had been lifted from somewhere else. I thought it might make interesting reading…………..

"1. Do some research and find a lucrative niche. One that Adsense pays well for every click (aim for average click worth of 15 cents or more – per click)
for some ideas look at http://random9.com/Googlest-site/index.htm
(I recommend to stay away from "internet marketing" and "make money" stuff and focus on mainstream stuff that regular people need – products, holidays, services. Paul’s wedding dresses "niche" is exactly what I refer to.

2. Use wordtracker and Google Adwords keyword tool to make sure the
niche is wide enough (i.e. lots of people are looking for info in this field) and to come up with an initial list of keywords (200-500 keywords is good). Again, the Wedding niche scores high here – lots of "regular" people are looking for info and subsequently buy and spend money, which menas Adsense click yield can be expected be good.

3. Build a SIMPLE landing page with 200-300 words of real content on the subject and 3 Adsense elements (I use 2 728×90 leader boards both at the top and the bottom and a 160×600 vertical banner as a right side banner. what happens is your text is now SURROUNDED by about 12-15 potential Adsense links. To save time and $ You don’t have to register a new domain, just build the page on www.yourdomain.com/yournewniche.html. If a niche works out to be profitable, you can always purchase a domain for it later. but for testing purposes using your existing site is fine.

4. Adapt Adsense ads to blend well with your page color scheme. This is important for your "converison" i.e. percentage of visitors that will click on one of the Adsense links.
With 3 well blended Adsense elements on your page – you can expect around 50% clickthorugh, 20-25% for top and side bars, and around 5%-10% for the bottom bar.
(see figures below). Use a separate Adsense channel for each banner to track clickthroughs and ROI’s.

6. Write several good ads on Google adwords directing traffic
DIRECTLY to the new page. Direct both Visible URL and Actual URL
to www.yourdomain.com/yournewniche.html

7. Choose your target audience on Google Adwords (countries, languages, content, search partners)
but don’t be too picky. you can always exclude later.
TIP: European clicks, especially (but not only) UK traffic
is sometimes worth much more to advertisers than US traffic. Think globally. Again, the Wedding example is good – people are getting married everywhere, so why not target all English speaking countries( UK, Australia, Canada, Ireland, NZ, South Africa)
as well as the rest of the European Union (Scandinavian countries as well as Holland, Switzerland & Belgium are absolutely great. Germany, Spain, France and Italy are usually OK). Less success with Asian markets so far, but I wouldn’t ignore the more advanced countries such as Japan, Hong-kong, Singapore, South Korea. In some niches you could also target developing nations.

8. Use your keyword list from stage 2 and set your max CPC to the Google minimum of $0.05.

9. Login to both adwords and adsense accounts after 24 hours. If things went your way Adsense revenue is now more than Adwords Expense. You are now basically sitting on a small ($5-$10 per day)
autopilot money machine.

10. Expand your money machine – Optimize Ads on Adwords and expand Keyword list to get more traffic. Look at additional sources of CHEAP PPC traffic (Findwhat, enhance, goclick etc. and perhaps Overture as well – if you can turn a profit over their minimum of 10 cents per click)

11. Drop your losers. If after 400 clicks or so you’re still in the red (that means you spent $20 and made less on Adsense) drop it. If you broke even – tweak and try again. If you’re still breaking even – drop it. Kill your losers and let your winners run forever.

12. Not every niche or sub-niche will be successful, but if a niche
doesn’t turn a profit – you’ll know it within a couple of days and move on. If it is successful – you’re on an initial net $100-$200 monthly stream.

13. Repeat this process again and again.
Get 20 of those successful niche landing pages up and running (I believe that it could be done in 2-3 months or even less if you’re not working full time), and you’re on a $2000-$4000 net, self-generating, monthly income – for some people this is enough to leave their JOB.
If this is not enough for you to quit your job, then wait until you have 50 pages.

This is a real example of one of my "successful" sub-niche pages – these are 3 day stats for ONE landing page as described above.
I hope I’m not braking too many rules by publishing these numbers.

As you see – I made $20 on this page in 3 days. If this trend will continue – I’ll be making $200 per month (perpetually!) on about a couple of hours worth of work. This, as thousands of other niches, is NOT saturated by Internet Marketing sharks or Clickbank super affiliates, so there no reason to expect dramatic increase in Adwords competition in the short term. Remeber you are paying only $0.05 (and constantly optimizing your ads and CTR) while some of your "competitors" are less knowledgeable – they aim for pole position – and bid $1 or more per click.
