Give Your Blog A Traffic Injection
| by Paula Brett |Apologies for not posting for so long everyone, it’s been a bit like a madhouse here, what with Christmas coming up.
I actually have 7 draft posts in my blog dashboard, all half written and then put on the shelf to `finish later’. My New Year’s resolution will be `get yourself organised, Paula, and stop getting distracted’!!! I prom
ise
Anyway, I’ve got lots to tell you about, what I’ve been up to the last couple of weeks, not least that I’ve been spreading my wings a bit, getting out and about the internet more than usual and I’ve been meeting some interesting new people.
But first, though, I wanted to give you all a heads up on something that you can jump in on right now…. to get some traffic to your blogs. It’s actually something that a new online aquaintance, told me about…
Take a trip over to Jack Humphreys blog, Friday Traffic Report, and check out his Technorati Favorite Blogs Exchange.
All you need to do is leave a comment on his blog and follow his instructions.
More posts coming…… honest!

I did ask you to kick me didn’t I? Mind you, although you did give me a rap just the once, you need to be a bit more forceful Mark, lol.
Thanks for being such a loyal reader. I’d think something was wrong if I didn’t see your smiley cartoon monkey at the top of my MyBlogLog widget nearly every day

Paula,
You may be the only marketer I know that updates their primary blog as infrequently as I.
In my case it’s either laziness or scarcity marketing. Not sure which.
May you and yours have a Merry and safe Christmas!

Ha, Elmer, you’re right. I’m duly chastened. I think I’m too busy micro-blogging – I need to retrain myself to type more than 140 characters at a time :0

Hi Paula,
I really like your latest post, we must be related somehow! I have the hardest time focusing on anything for over a minute or two and then I get distracted by something else! I hope we can take what Alex is teaching us and apply it and make lots of money and help others do the same.
Thanks for the info about technorati, I’ve been needing to get up to speed more with social networking and marketing. I’ve met Eoin and he’s a nice guy. I’ll follow your link and find out more.
Have a very Merry Christmas,
Kevin

Hi Kevin
Thanks for taking the time to stop by. Yes, I think that is the one thing that I need to concentrate on overcoming in 2009 – stop faffing around and get on with things
A very merry Xmas to you and yours, Kevin

Hi Renee, thanks for stopping by and yes, please do drop by any time, hopefully you’ll find plenty of other stuff to help you along.
Yes, I like the top commentator roll as it does what it says on the tin, rewards people for commenting on my blog. I also installed CommentLuv a while back so my commenters can show readers what they’re up to on their blogs. So the more you comment here, the more exposure my readers will get to your blog posts
Have a lovely Xmas, Renne, take care

Hi Paula,
I just followed you on Twitter. I’m an Alex Jeffreys student. Sorry to admit I’m just now coming to your blog.
I was intrigued by the title of this post so I had to come and check it out; my blog REALLY needs a traffic injection.
I can’t wait to try this Technorati thing you’ve mentioned. I’m going there next.
I’ve seen some of your input in our forum and you are always very helpful. I feel somewhat handicapped because I am definitely NOT techie.
If you see anything that needs attention on my blog, feel free to give me suggestions. I need all the help I can get.
Thanks,
Dawn
