John Thornhill Relaunches His Flagship Membership Site

Many of you, I know, are already Members of John `PlanetSMS’ Thornhill’s private Membership Site, and for those of you who are, you’re in for a real treat later on today (8 pm UK time / 3 pm EST).

Having been a good Girl Guide (I was, honestly), the `Be Prepared’ motto is still burned into my brain – so I cheekily emailed John and asked if I could have a quick shufty at the new all-singing-all-dancing eBook website that he’s been promising.

Why would I do this? Well, I’m sure you know that I’m a moderator in John’s private forum, (which, I have to say, is one of the best forums around) but my purpose for “being prepared” was that a great many of John’s Members are also my Clients over at D9 Hosting, which I run together with Dan Thompson. Obviously, everthing and anything that affects our Clients and their websites, we want to know about.

OK, so whilst I can’t show you the website yet, (I made a solumn promise that I wouldn’t), I can tell you a little bit about it….

There’s a huge thread on the PlanetSMS forum (it started back in February) where John asked Members what they wanted from the new website and boy, did the suggestions and requests come thick and fast…

The main feature is an easy-edit control panel which means that this new site will be so easy to set up, maintain, and edit. Users will have the ability to

• add/remove AdSense ads at the click of a button.
• add your Aweber settings at the click of a button.
• add your own eBooks easily/remove eBooks that you don’t want
• choose from a number of themes
• add and remove categories
• add/edit the headers and footers with a click of the button.
• add/edit new or existing pages with a built in WYSIWYG editor

and much, much more. It will just be case of filling in the various sections in the admin panel with your details and hey presto, it’s done.

This new site really will be a case of `point and click’.

Now for those of you who are already Members, this fantastic new package will not cost you one penny more than you have already paid for Membership.

However, if you HAVEN’T joined yet and it’s something that you’ve been meaning to do, keep your eye out for the launch today (3 pm EST / 8 pm UK time) and grab it while you can at the reduced pre-launch price – the post-launch price will definitely be $167, so you’ll probably be saving yourself somewhere in the region of $100 (not that I’ve got any insider info or anything!!)
