Seth Godin’s Most Popular Posts of 2008 – In Order
| by Paula Brett |
You may remember back in July that I alerted readers to Seth Godin’s new Triiibes project. Seth Godin, the creater of Squidoo, writes such an inspirational blog – indeed it’s one of my favourites – I always come away from it shaking my head in sheer admiration.
Seth has posted his most popular blog posts, (measured by click popularity) over on his blog – starting with
3. Scarcity
Why not check out the other 17 here and if you’re not already an avid reader of Seth’s blog, why not add it to your feedreader?
If you would like to be notified the next time I make a post, sign up for Email Alerts or subscribe to the RSS feed. Many thanks for reading

Hi Ann Marie, it was kind of you to stop by and thank you for your kind words about my blog. It’s been up and running since about the summer of 2006, I think, on and off.
Hope you’re enjoying the Xmas holiday and hope to see you again

Hi Paula!
I just got Seth Godin’s book Tribes and I will read it tomorrow. So looking forward to it. I watched an 80 minute presentation he held not long ago and it was fantastic.
Thanks for pointing out his most read blog posts. He is learning something new and it’s so good for what we are learning from Alex right now.
Talk to you soon!

I was lucky enough to get in on Tribes when he first announced it, we all had to pre-order the book from Amazon.
Of course, it arrived through my letterbox a few days after it was released and then very suprisingly, a couple of weeks later another copy arrived – with a letter from Seth saying words to the affect of “thanks for ordering my book, you’ve probably got two copies now and that’s great, I want you to give the 2nd copy away……..” Wow, what a amazing marketing strategy. And it wasn’t just me — having heard other people tell the same story, I suspect that everyone who joined at that time got the same treatment.
Enjoy Tribes, I did
and thanks for stopping by.

Found you through another blog where you were asking for friend through Google, so popped on over to give you a “friends up.”
Ironically,I just finished listening to Seth Godins TRIBE. I was pleasantly surprised by your post. Good things come to those who extend also try to do a favor. I was thrilled about the most popular post.

Hi Paula,
If you and Tommygun Skavhellen are recommending this book then I’ll have to get it.
Just thought I would let you know that I have made a decision to drop the excess URL tag after my name based on what you said over at Gary-Land the other day. You were right. And it saves me time too! LOL!
Also had a quickie at your interview the other day when I was llurking around here. I went to print it off so I could lay down and read it at leisure but something happened – can’t remember now – maybe it was restricted. Dunno now. Anyway I skim read a fair bit of it. Nice work.
I have a pic up of my backyard over in Western Australia that you might like to look at. I have based it on the many tropical resorts that we have stayed at all over the world. Now I have one right outside my back door. It is so peaceful.

Hi Paula,
I just heard you on the webinar. I sent you a message on the fortunate 500 before I realized you might get this first. You were awesome.
I just joined twitter yesterday and am still trying to figure it out. You seem to be the master so maybe you can give me some tips? One question for now, how do I send messages to specific people?
Thanks,
Sarah
P.S. Your blog is amazing! Something to aspire to.
